Simple FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Watch AI has no separate subscription or per-video charge. Your normal Codex plan still applies.
Does it install anything?
Yes. With your approval, Codex adds Watch AI and the supporting components it needs. You normally do this once on each computer.
What video lengths are supported?
Videos under 20 minutes are the normal use case. Longer videos are supported, but take longer. Watch AI will check with you before continuing.
Does my video leave my computer?
The downloaded video stays in a temporary working folder on your computer. To explain it, Codex may send selected frames and transcript text through your normal Codex service, just as it does with other material you ask Codex to analyse. Nothing is uploaded to this website or a separate Watch AI service.
